Teylu (Na'vi name: Teylu) are a main source of protein for the Na'vi, along with sturmbeest and hexapede. Similar to jumbo shrimp, slightly sweet. Usually steamed, but Na'vi also cook them with vegitables over an open fire on a stick similar to Terran shish kebab.
These grubs are similar to Terran maggots, but they have a higher protein content and breed more rapidly in waste.
